The first is of him singing his ABC's
and the second is him singing "Mountain" and also saying
"Oh my God" (which he isn't allowed to say) and then changing it to
"Oh my goodness sakes." :)

Eeek! Mice!
Liam has two new pets! He has pet mice named Bernard and Bianca (of "The Rescuers" fame). We went to the pet store on Friday and he picked out all the mice supplies by himself! A little purple hut for them to sleep in, a cream colored ceramic food dish, and a light blue exercise wheel. He even picked out the mice he wanted, saying "Ummm...how 'bout da black one?" and "The brown one, please!"
Bianca is white with black spots and Bernard (or "Bee-ard" according to Liam) is brown. They are quite cute and fun to watch. Liam likes to run into his room and yell, "Mice! WAKE UP!" He gets very excited when they come out to play! It's so cute to see him with animals...maybe he'll be a veterinarian someday!

The Rainbow Connection
Aaron sings "The Rainbow Connection" to Liam every night before bed. Liam's heard it so many times that he has it memorized! It is SO adorable to hear him sing it. He sings in this high little quiet voice that is so sweet. Here are Liam's lyrics (and here's the translation for reference):

Daddy and Liam were singing this in the bathroom last night while Aaron shaved his head and Liam took a bath. It was SO cute. I love it when he sings "are these the sweet sounds that called the young sailors," it's probably the most adorable thing I've ever heard and I ask him to sing it about 12 times a day! He has such an amazing memory...he literally knows this whole song and will sing it on his own without prompting! I love it.

Poor Kid
Liam had a rough few days last week dealing with a nasty cough and a very hoarse voice. Poor kid sounded awful! He woke up around 1am on Thursday crying this hoarse, pathetic cry. He tried to cough and really couldn't. We got a temperature of 100.9, and he just kept asking for something to drink. He layed down in our bed for an hour or so, but he was very restless and never fell back to sleep. He was confused about what time it was and kept looking around the room saying "I'm just lookin' at stuff." It was cute, but would have been cuter if it was after 6am.
Aaron took the day off and scheduled a doctor's appointment for him. I wanted to go as well, but had some things that had to be finished at work. The nurse practitioner was the only person with any openings that day, so Aaron took him to see her. He cried the entire time. Didn't want to be weighed (36 lbs. was the eventual reading), refused to be measured (5ft. is my estimation), and sobbed hysterically when they had to take a chest x-ray. She wanted to make sure he didn't have pneumonia, and it all checked out fine. She said he just has a virus and that it will pass in a few days. We kept him hydrated and cuddled with him a lot. He seems to be doing better and has returned to his usual good sleep habits. Thank goodness!

Weekend Visitors!
We had a great weekend with Grandpa Howie and Grandma Pammy! They spent the night on Friday and we went to breakfast, the pet store, the sanctuary and to dinner on Saturday! It was quite the full day, and we had a lot of fun!
