There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children, one is roots; the other, wings.

Go Pack Go!
Today we took the boy's to a Packer practice! We didn't tell them where we were going, so they were pretty excited when they saw the players riding kids' bikes into the training field. Well, once we TOLD them they were players! Everyone there was wearing a Packer jersey, so they thought the players were just part of the crowd! My favorite comment from Liam when Clay Mathews ran onto the field?
"Mom, why is that girl playing?" AHAHAHA.
And here is a picture of Clay Mathews for those of you who may need a visual (aka my sister Sarah):

Big Kids
Liam had his meeting with his kindergarten teacher today! He was quizzed on his letters, writing his name and reading. His teacher reinforced what we already knew - this kid is an amazing reader! She wanted to move him up several reading groups, but is going to start him in the 1st grade reading group first. I'm so proud of him! He was just his usual self, like "yeah. i can read. can't everyone?" Love it.
I asked him what books his teacher had him read and he said, "I'm afraid I can't tell you that!"
Hilarious.
In other news, Max pooped on the potty by himself today! He gave us a very detailed description of things and then immediately demanded he go out for ice cream! Needless to say ... they went out for ice cream!
