I asked Liam what he'd like me to make him for dinner tonight. I told him he could have whatever he wanted. I fully expected him to request hot chocolate and Halloween candy, but instead he asked for "Spaghetti! And beans! And crunchy bread!" Adorable.
During the gourmet meal tonight Liam asked, "So, Dad what did you do at school today?" Aaron asked Liam what he did at school and then they decided to each share one thing they did. Aaron talked about giving the kids a test today and then Liam told a story about building with blocks. "So, I got myself in a situation with my blocks. I was building and then it fell down." WHAT?! A SITUATION?! Where did this kid even hear that word? Aaron and I had to try really hard not to laugh out loud and asked more about his "situation". "Yeah, it made me really nervous," he said.
So cute.
