Sarah and I saw the show Sister Act at the London Palladium last Wednesday. We've loved the film version forever, so it was awesome to see it live!
We booked the cheapest seats in the house earlier in the day, and didn't feel the need to queue and run in for seats. We took pictures instead. Well, a nice old man took this one.
We only waited for a few minutes before they opened the doors.
We made our way to our seats, which we assumed were in the last balcony. But, why do our tickets say "stalls"? And why are we being directed to the main orchestra seating?
Apparently these are our "restricted view" seats! No more than one minute of the show was blocked by the side wall, and we ended up 11 rows from the front!
We were pretty excited! It was sad that our other lovely sister couldn't be with us, but we thought of her fondly whenever Sister Mary Patrick sang.
I might have cried at a few points during the show. I don't remember...
Sarah and I sang songs from the show for the rest of the week! It was great to see it with Sarah...one of my two favorite sisters!
