We spent a weekend up north to attend our third wedding of the summer and Grandpa Richie's model airplane club fly-in! Liam loves planes, so he was really excited to watch them take off and do tricks in the air. He was also very interested in the landings and watched closely to see how the guys with the controls did that. In between flights he ate snacks and visited with Grandma Karen and Grandpa Richie. It was a cold, windy day, but he didn't seem to mind! He heard a big plane start its engine and his eyes lit up. "HURRY MOM! It's starting!" he yelled!
Kayla and I have known eachother since preschool. We've stayed pretty close over the years, and been through some good times and some crappy times. She's worked so hard to raise her son and to get her degree. She now has a great job, a wonderful son, and she's finally found a great guy to share her life with. Their wedding was beautiful. It was wonderful to see her so happy. I may have cried. Multiple times.
